Kane is napping right now so I have a bit of time to update~ Kane has gotten sooo big now. everyday we look at him in awe at how much he's grown. can't believe it will be 2 years next month! time sure goes by fast, especially when you have a baby!

this was the first time i let him have a 'big kid' candy (push-up pops?) he sure loved it but he had a hard time licking/sucking it at first. let's just say there was alot of drool! lol but he was so addicted to it i had to take it away after awhile.



last month was our good friend's wedding. kane was soooooo bad that we had to call bf's niece to come get him halfway through the dinner. lol after he left we had lots of fun! hahah





we had a christmas photoshoot a few weeks ago. kane was once again a very bad boy who wouldn't co-operate so we only got like 3 good shots with him. he didn't even get any solo shots! :(((( booooo will post the pics when i get them all :)



my cousin from vancouver recently moved to calgary. sooo she came down to stay with us for the weekend. we used to be super super close, grew up together our whole lives, her mom and my mom (sisters) were best of friends, we all moved to vancouver together, then i moved back while she stayed there. anyway before this we haven't seen each other for like 4 years so it was super nice to see her again. <3 her!



that weekend my cousin came down was Lieu's birthday party. Lieu is my boyfriend's brother's girlfriend. me and Lieu have gotten super close since she started dating my bf's brother maybe 5 years ago? so i brought my cousin along for the partay! omg before this i haven't been clubbing in sooo long like since i was 18 so like 10 years ago! ok i sort of lied. i go clubbing only on vacation, never at home. sooo yeah i rarely ever go, used to hate it. but now i don't mind it. had alot of fun.









my cousin also gave me a much needed haircut while she was in town. she used to be a hairstylist, now she's a teacher. i haven't gotten a trim since before vietnam, back in february. cuz i don't really trust anyone to cut my hair except my uncle (who's in vancouver), my cousin (who was in vancouver too and now calgary) and this other guy here in edmonton but he's always high and never at his shop. nyways, love my haircut!



then, the next weekend which was our Canadian Thanksgiving, my cousin came down again (3 hour car drive for her) i guess she had so much fun the previous weekend she had to come down the next! heheh i dind't mind though, we loved it! we had a mini thanksgiving dinner at our place. my brother n his girlfriend came over too. we drank, karaoked, played drunk cranium, cards, and deadly drinking games. fun fun!



i never have my hair straight. i just realized that a few days ago. it's either always up cuz im lazy or curled if im going out. that's it. i never straighten it. dunno why. and i went from super tanned from summer n my cruise trip 2 months ago to super pale white again. boooo



Halloween 2010. big dissapointment. kane wouldn't keep his mexican costume on at all...not even for a pic! you are not my son! hhahah thennn he wouldn't even go to any houses to trick or treat. booooo i was so looking forward to bringing him trick or treating this year too. and for once it wasn't snowing this halloween. i even threw on a last minute costume! :( so sad. hopefully next year kane will co operate.



this is what kane thought of his costume hahaha i bought everything when i was in mexico in september. the sombraro, poncho, that instrument thing, maraccas. all authentic mexican gear! lol except the mustache i made myself haha maybe he can reuse the outfit next year. i even put dark makeup and bronzer on his face to make it tanned, it was sooooo funny he looked sooo dirty cuz it was blotchy hahah but he wouldn't even let us get one good pic :( lol
